Consultation
A consultation allows the iTransform Homes team to gain a clear understanding of your property, your goals and the best approach to showcasing your home.
Together, we'll discuss your options and tailor a home staging solution to suit your property, your budget and your target market.
With experienced, professional advice and a fresh perspective, we'll identify the best ways to maximise your home's appeal, helping it stand out and leave a lasting first impression.
Full home staging
iTransform Homes Full staging sells houses. If your house is empty and unfurnished, staging with furniture and accessories is vital. It’s common knowledge that buyers react more positively to furnished property.
While many factors influence a property's value, professional home staging is one of the most effective ways to maximise its appeal. Beautifully styled homes photograph better, attract more interest online and create an emotional connection with buyers—helping your property stand out in a competitive market.
Partial home staging
Not every property requires full home staging. Our partial staging service complements your existing furniture by adding carefully selected pieces, artwork, décor and accessories to enhance your home's presentation.
Successful home staging isn't about filling your home with furniture—it's about creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming and lived in. We'll help you decide what to keep, what to remove and what's needed to showcase your property's full potential.
Decluttering
The iTransform Homes team will help you declutter and simplify your home, creating inviting, well-balanced spaces that showcase your property's full potential.
This will produce top-notch photos for your marketing plan and during open homes, allowing buyers to better envision themselves living in the home.
Decluttering also makes the moving process easier. By packing away personal belongings early, you'll begin the transition to your next home while creating a welcoming environment that allows buyers to form their own emotional connection with the property.
iTransform Homes Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
At iTransform Homes, I’m asked a lot of questions about staging and how I work. See below for some of my most common questions and responses, but please feel free to call and ask more.
iTransform Homes staging services
How long does it take to stage my home?
Most homes can be staged in a single day. Smaller homes and townhouses may only take a few hours, while larger family homes can take most of the day. Our team arrives with everything needed and transforms the property room by room, ready for photography and open homes.
When should I book my staging?
The earlier, the better. Ideally, contact us as soon as you know your property is heading to market. This gives us time to complete a site visit, plan your staging layout and reserve the most suitable furniture and décor for your home. While we can often accommodate tighter timeframes, booking in advance helps ensure availability and the best possible result.
Does my home need to be empty before staging?
Not always. We offer both vacant home staging and partial staging. For vacant properties, we bring in everything required to create a warm, inviting home. If you're still living in the property, we can often work with existing furniture and add key pieces to enhance presentation.
For the best result, we recommend the home is clean, complete, and free of trades before installation day.
How does the staging process work?
We start with a site visit or review of plans and photos to understand the home and the likely buyer. From there, we create a staging plan, select furniture and accessories from our warehouse, and schedule installation.
On staging day, our team delivers, installs, styles, and completes the home. Once the property is sold or the campaign finishes, we return and remove everything.
Simple, stress-free, and designed to help buyers connect with the home.
Do I need to be at the property during installation?
No. As long as we have access to the property via a key, lockbox, or agent, our team can complete the installation without you being present.
Many of our clients are builders, developers, or homeowners juggling busy schedules, so we make the process as easy as possible.
What happens when the property sells?
Firstly - congratulations!
Once the property is sold, simply let us know. We generally require around 5 working days' notice to arrange pack-down and collection. If settlement is sooner, we'll always do our best to accommodate your timeframe.
Our standard staging campaign includes 6 weeks, with extensions available if needed.
How much does home staging cost?
Every property is unique, so we provide a tailored quote based on the size of your home, the number of rooms being staged, access and the level of styling required. Whether you need full home staging, partial staging or owner-occupied styling, we'll recommend the best solution to suit your property and budget.
What areas do you service?
We provide professional home staging and property styling throughout Christchurch, Selwyn, Waimakariri and Canterbury. If you're unsure whether we service your area, simply get in touch- we're always happy to discuss your project.
